1st Place: Veronica Gallego

"Non Finito"

"South Piedmont Community College marked the beginning of my formative years as a student and an artist. My ePortfolio is meant to showcase my work during this time and my commitment to professionalism. I used a white, black, and gold palette to reflect the colors of graduation and, alongside its minimalist appeal, it presents my accomplishments with simplicity and elegance. Creating my ePortfolio was an introspective experience; the artifacts were evidence of my progress, and I was able to judge their strengths and flaws. The process made me realize that critically analyzing my work is as important as creating it, and I will continue to do so when I begin my professional career."

2nd Place: Mahi Patel

"No Risk, No Reward"

"My ePortfolio has given me an overview of everything that I have accomplished during my time at SPCC, which shows me how much I've grown as a student. It has also eased some self-doubt that I have in my academic abilities, and I think I feel more confident that I will succeed in my future endeavors. I learned that I've had a common theme of not backing down from a challenge and always pushing myself to my best potential. I'm excited to take this knowledge to UNC Chapel Hill, where I will pursue the medical field."
